NWTF Youth BB-Tent - great activity for the kids to pop some balloons with a BB gun.  Tent is self contained and run by National Wildlife Turkey Federation Volunteers. 

​

10:00am - 3:00pm         

Benelli and Sig Sauer demonstrations - show visitors will be able to test product lines for a nominal fee to cover cost of ammunition.

​

10:00am - 12:00pm         

Facepainting Fun - kids can stop by the facepainting table to get their favorite design or wildlife footprint.

1:00pm - 2:00pm         

Turkeys Are Everywhere - the season starts October 22!  Get ready for the fall turkey season with tips, tactics and strategies. Kevin Antonovich and Brian Malone, members of the local "National Wild Turkey Federation" chapter have taken well over 100 fall turkeys all over New England. From breaking up a flock to Kee Kee run calls - learn the A to Z of fall turkey hunting upstairs in the clubhouse.

Come meet Town of Barnstable Natural Resource Officer Amy Croteau and learn about local wildlife. Get an up close and personal view of wildlife while learning the daily and seasonal habits of these animals thru the program’s collection of taxidermy animals. The collection includes adult and pup eastern coyotes,  chipmunk, skunk, opossum, raccoon, river otter, turkey, mink, fisher, red tail hawk, sharp shinned hawk, thick billed murre, osprey, great horned owl, sunny owl and a barred owl.  Talks continue throughout Sunday.  Great activity for kids and adults alike.

Egg Shoot - at the long rifle range - Want to try your hand at precision shooting at 50 yards or 100 yards?  Come down to the range and fire off 10 rounds of .22LR and see how many "egg"  targets you can hit.  Great activity for youth shooters (minimum age 10) to senior shooters .  Range officers on hand to give one-on-one personal supervision and helpful hints.  Fee is $5 for 10 shots.
